I often wonder what these guys are thinking. Luckily I happen to KNOW what is going on in his head, because I asked.
“Good Morning Caitlyn,” Kane blinked sleepily. “So you wanted me to talk to your what? Who?”
I explained again about the fabulous group of ladies in my Crew and Kane rolled up onto his elbow in bed. (John knows I’m just here for an interview. LOL)
“Oh, yeah, you told me about them. I’ve been thinking about what I wanted to say. I was raised by my father. He was a good man, but kind of lonely. I don’t remember my mother, and I have no sisters.”
I have met a couple of really good women, but only after they have been taken by my buddies. Until then, I kind of thought good women were a myth. Then you told me about the ladies in your crew. AND you allowed me to read some of the fucking incredible things they have accomplished. But it’s not just their accomplishments. Oftentimes, it is their wounded hearts that touch me. I want to reach out and hug them and tell them that I HEAR them.
Caitlyn, these women are beautiful, inside and out. Oftentimes they are taking on unimaginable burdens with wit and grace. They are so supportive of one another. One day I hope to meet just such a woman for my own.”
